Preventative Maintenance
Preventative maintenance work is crucial in reducing the risk of a breakdown, prolonging the lifespan of a system and maintaining optimum efficiency saving money all round. - Check and clean return air and fresh air filters
- Connect gauges if required and check operating pressures
- Record liquid line and suction line pressures where required
- Check for signs of refrigerant leaks
- Check for any water leaks, signs of condensation and mould.
- Check water pumps where required
- Record temperature differential across evaporator and condenser coils
- Check evaporator and condenser subcool and superheats.
- Check evaporator coils, fan barrels, pulleys, belts and motors (tension if required)
- Check pcb boards, contactors, start capacitors and potential relays.
- Check compressors, fan motors and thermistors.
- Check all wiring and power supply (tighten if required)
- Clean condenser coils, coil clean any coil (if required)
- Check defrost control operation (heat pumps only)
- Check all thermostats, sensors and calibrate if needed
- Check all HVAC related switchboards for healthy operation
- Maintain tidy plant rooms
- Diagnose any fault and quote for repair
